Fiction novelist, Jillian Thomadsen, visited our classroom to talk about her experience as a writer. Mrs. Thomadsen shared that she wrote her first book at the age of 7. The book was about a witch, and she carried the book around and wrote whenever and wherever she could. Mrs. Thomadsen's son also shared a book that he recently published with his mom. Although she went to school for business and finance (and worked at a financial firm after college), Mrs. Thomadsen did not give up her passion for writing. She pursued her dream, and she was able to fully publish her most recent book this past year. The book is called All The Hidden Pieces, and it is a suspense mystery novel written for adult readers.
