Welcome new first graders and families! So glad to be spending the year with you! I look forward to sharing some of our memorable first grade moments on this blog. We started our first grade time together doing some getting to know you activities. Here students are completing the activity, Find a Friend. Classmates sign their name in a category that suits them, for example... Find a friend who rode a bike this summer.
Students also located some items in our classroom to get to know the room layout by doing a little scavenger hunt.
We also completed some team building activities that had us up and moving.
We also learned the "ropes" of Old Bonhomme School by participating in the RODEO. We went around to the various parts of the building and playground where we learned and practiced the expectations.
Thank you to our coaches for organizing this event! We learned a lot from the RODEO!
