The 120th day of school was celebrated in 1st grade!  What a fun day!

Spreading love and kindness with our Buddy Class!

We met with our Buddy class in 2H to spread some love to the very hard-working staff at OB.  Students paired up with buddies and made thank you cards stamped with love for our teachers, custodians, teaching assistants, and support staff.  We managed to make one for every staff member all in one hour, and we did it all in our pajamas!  This was a fun way to spread kindness with our Buddies!

Chinese New Year Parade

Our class was able to watch a neat Chinese New Year parade led by our wonderful art teacher, Mrs. Roth and 4 classes of Kindergarteners!  It kicked off the first 15 days of the Chinese New Year celebration.  The parade was very festive with lots of red, traditional Chinese music, drummers, and an amazing long dragon!  Thank you to Miss Bergin for snapping these photos of us in the hallways of OB! 

It is customary to open the windows and doors to led the old year out and new year in!  

Valetine's Party

We would like to thank our amazing room parents for planning a wonderful Valentine's party complete with treats and fun games!  The students were so engaged at every activity.  We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU!  Also, thank you to the wonderful parent who snapped and shared these photos.

MLK Celebration

We really enjoyed participating in the celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  Going to the high school on a bus was a neat experience for our first grade class.  Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to participate in this event.
