First Grade Writing
This quarter the students had the opportunity to write realistic fiction pieces and poems.
The units always end in an Author's Celebration. Students celebrate their accomplishments and share their writing with others either in small groups or in front of the class.
Writer's Workshop is a very fun, productive part of our day!

Students worked very hard during Writer's Workshop this school year. They all worked toward individual writing goals, and it was fun to celebrate their success!
Spring Science Units
Spring is a great time to teach Weather and Plants...we can spend some hands-on time outdoors!

Our spring science units encouraged active engagement and hands-on opportunities. The students enjoyed these units!
